Congratulations to Lila Stewart and Presley Deck, both of Regina Diving Club for bringing home medals from the Jr. Development Nationals held in Toronto from July 6-8. Lila won her Silver medal on Group D Platform and Presley earned a Bronze medal on Group D 3m. These two were also super close to a medal on 1m where Presley finished 4th and Lila was 5th. Great job girls!

Congratulations to Kash Tarasoff of the Saskatoon Diving Club on his new provincial record! Kash broke the Men’s Group E platform record set in February by Freddie Moffat. Freddie’s score = 247.00 Kash beat it by just 1 point = 248! Congrats boys.
Congratulations to Rylan Wiens who has been named as a finalist for 2017 Sask Sport Youth Male of the Year Award. Rylan had a phenomenal year in 2017 which culminated in a bronze medal at Jr Pan Ams in Victoria. Winners will be announced at the Awards Reception in Saskatoon on March 22nd. Congratulations to the 2017 Dive Sask Canada Games Team who will be competing from July 31 – August 3rd in Winnipeg. Members of the team are:

- WOMEN: Joelle Gallais, Alyssa Clairmont, Liz DeCecco, Quinn Gariepy
- MANAGER: Sydney Hesselberg

- APPRENTICE COACH: Jana Klein

Nationals 2017 is in the bags and we have two new medal holders AND two new Saskatchewan record holders. Kelsey Clairmont of Regina Diving Club won bronze in Group C 3m at Jr. Development Nationals and broke her own record which she had set earlier in the year. Rylan Wiens of Saskatoon Diving Club took the silver medal on Group B 3m at Jr. Elite Nationals and broke the record that had been set by Jamie Spilchak just last month at Manitoba Provincials. Congratulations Kelsey and Rylan!
